liveapps.dev has no accounts. This page lists what the relay sees and keeps. WorldOfZ LLC operates the service and decides how this data is used.
What we keep
- When a tunnel connects or a name is reserved: the subdomain, the connecting IP address, the browser or CLI user-agent text, and the time. This goes to the server log.
- Abuse reports: the tunnel name, the reason and the details you type. This goes to the server log and to a short list the operator reviews. We do not ask for your name or email.
- Operator actions: which names or IP addresses were blocked, and when.
- Errors and limits: short log lines when a request is refused or rate-limited, with the IP address.
What we do not keep
- No request or response content. Pages, files, headers and bodies pass through memory while they are forwarded and are not written to disk or logged. Visitor requests to a tunnel are not individually logged.
- No accounts, passwords or payment details. The service is free.
Because traffic passes through our servers, it is not end-to-end encrypted: it is encrypted between the visitor and us, and between us and your CLI, and readable by the relay while it is forwarded. Do not send anything you would not trust a relay with.
How long
Server logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days. Abuse reports (the tunnel name, the reason and the details you type) are kept until we have dealt with them. If we need evidence for an investigation or a legal request, we may keep the relevant entries longer.
Who sees it
Our hosting providers (the servers and network the relay runs on, and a CDN in front of it) can see traffic and addresses as part of running it. We share logs with law enforcement or courts only when we think the law requires it, or to stop abuse and protect people. We do not sell data.
Cookies and analytics
The public website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. The operator admin panel uses one sign-in cookie, for the operator only. A site you reach through a tunnel is someone else’s site and may set its own cookies. This page does not cover it.
The command-line tool
The CLI stores a small settings file on your computer (for example which terms version you have seen). It does not send anything about you apart from what is needed to open the tunnel.
