Terms of Service and Acceptable Use

Last updated November 6, 2026. Operated by WorldOfZ LLC.

liveapps.dev is a free service that gives a program on your computer a public HTTPS address. It is run by WorldOfZ LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the website, the command-line tool or any *.liveapps.dev address, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

The relay forwards web requests from visitors to the program you run on your own machine. We do not host your content, we do not review it, and we are not the publisher of it. You are responsible for everything you serve through a liveapps.dev address and for everything your visitors can do with it.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use liveapps.dev to serve, link to or help with:

  • Phishing or impersonation: fake login or payment pages, pages that pretend to be another company, person or service, or names built to look like one.
  • Malware: viruses, ransomware, spyware, exploit kits, or command-and-control for any of them.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance: we remove it at once and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
  • Illegal content or activity, including anything illegal where you live or where your visitors are.
  • Infringement of copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • Spam and unwanted bulk messages, and fraud or scams.
  • Attacks and scanning: denial of service, port or vulnerability scanning of systems you do not own, brute-forcing, or anything meant to break into or disrupt others.
  • Open proxies, VPNs and relays that let other people hide their traffic or reach other services through your tunnel.
  • Cryptocurrency mining or other work that uses visitors’ devices without their clear consent.
  • Adult content.
  • Interfering with the service, getting around its limits or blocks, or using it to hide who is behind abusive content.

Some names are reserved, including names that look like logins or other companies’ brands (for example login, paypal or secure-bank). The service will not give them out.

3. Blocking and removal

We may block, disable or remove any tunnel, name or connection address at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including when we only suspect a violation or when we receive a complaint. A disabled tunnel shows a notice that it was disabled for violating these terms. We do not owe you a refund, a replacement name or an explanation. Creating new tunnels to get around a block is itself a violation.

4. Reporting abuse and takedowns

To report a tunnel, use the form on the abuse page. We aim to disable confirmed phishing, malware and CSAM reports within 24 hours, and handle other reports within a week. For copyright, send a notice with the information the DMCA asks for (what work, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement made in good faith and under penalty of perjury) through the same form.

5. Law enforcement

We may share information we hold (see the privacy policy) with law enforcement, courts and other authorities when we think the law requires it or when needed to protect people, the service or others. We report CSAM as required by law.

6. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security and non-infringement. Tunnels may drop, slow down or disappear. Do not use the service for anything where an outage or a data leak would cause harm. Traffic between a visitor and your program passes through our servers, so do not send secrets or sensitive personal data through a tunnel you do not need to.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WorldOfZ LLC and the people who work for it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from the service, even if we were told it could happen. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may apply to you only in part.

8. Your responsibility and indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify WorldOfZ LLC against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from content you serve through the service, your use of it, or your breach of these terms or the law.

9. Changes and ending the service

We may change the service, its limits or these terms, or stop the service altogether, at any time. When the terms change, the command-line tool shows the new agreement line once. Using the service after a change means you accept it. We may update the date above to show when.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where WorldOfZ LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either side may ask any court for urgent relief to protect its rights.
